Attachment C Utilization Review Changes

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services issued a notice regarding Attachment C Utilization Review Changes. Effective with admissions on or after January 1, 2010, additional diagnosis codes are subject to admission/concurrent/continued stay inpatient utilization review. In addition, effective October 1, 2009, an ICD-9-CM code 453.8 has been deleted and replaced with new 5th digit extensions.
